We spent today driving to Key West. The causeway out to Key West is an amazing structure. There are some keys along the way, but mostly it is a 100 mile long bridge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also saw that some people really want solitude. There are several very small keys that have only one or two structures on them. You can only get to them by boat or helicopter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once we arrived at Key West, we drove to the address of the pier for our ride to Dry Tortugas. It was a good thing we scouted this a day early. It was easy to find the address, but we didn’t see anything about the boat company. We had to call for directions before we could find the small sign for our charter boat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once we knew where to be in the morning, we headed back to our hotel. It will be an early morning to catch the boat. We are supposed to be at the dock by 6 am for a 7 am departure.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
