September 12, 2024 : Trip 13, Day 9 – Sunrise at Cadillac Mountain, The Beehive Trail, and Great Head Trail

The downside to seeing the sunrise on a mountain top is driving there when the night is the darkest. It is worth the drive. Once we got to the top of the mountain, we found a place to sit while the sun came up. We watched as the sky slowly changed colors and became brighter.

This was the view the resident of this house had. Zooming out or up and down may impact the view. There was an abundance of material available nearby if they ever wanted to expand their home. The land in the area was rolling and relatively flat. We still saw hills and mounds on our hike.
