Fun Things we did on our Trip
No trip to Boston is complete unless you get caught in a traffic jam. This one was caused by an accident. Our 15 minute drive turned into a 40 minute drive before we even got started. We had rented a parking place in downtown Boston so that we could walk to all our destinations today. […]
Today we drove from Acadia National Park to Boston Massachusetts. We planned two stops along the way. Our first stop was at Camden Hills State Park. The park has a high hill near the coast that provides a great view of the Atlantic Ocean. We hiked a little bit at the top of the park.

The downside to seeing the sunrise on a mountain top is driving there when the night is the darkest. It is worth the drive. Once we got to the top of the mountain, we found a place to sit while the sun came up. We watched as the sky slowly changed colors and became brighter.
It was a short drive from Grantham New Hampshire to Montpelier Vermont to see the Vermont Capitol. The building is one of the smaller capitols that we have seen. Vermont is a small small state with under 1,000,000 in population. It was not surprising to see just a few seats in the Senate. The real

One of the reasons we travel in September is because our grandson’s birthday is in September. Today we celebrated Declan’s tenth birthday. It was a great party at Danielle’s parents’ home. We got to see many friends and relatives.

We spent this day visiting with Eric, Michele, and Isabella. Isabella is our newest grandchild. She is about three months old. In the evening, AJ and his children drove up to join us for dinner at Juicy Burgers. We had a great meal and a lot of fun getting together.
