No trip to Boston is complete unless you get caught in a traffic jam. This one was caused by an accident. Our 15 minute drive turned into a 40 minute drive before we even got started. We had rented a parking place in downtown Boston so that we could walk to all our destinations today.
Today we drove from Acadia National Park to Boston Massachusetts. We planned two stops along the way. Our first stop was at Camden Hills State Park. The park has a high hill near the coast that provides a great view of the Atlantic Ocean. We hiked a little bit at the top of the park.

Acadia Mountain Trail was an interesting hike. It had a good balance of hiking in the woods, some rock scrambling, and great views from the mountain top to the lake side. The hike began with a rocky trail leading up a winding path to the top. Part way up the mountain, there was an opening
When we arrived at the bus stop today, we found a National Park entrance sign. This simple task is complex at some parks because they have multiple locations and no particular main entrance. The downside to seeing the sunrise on a mountain top is driving there when the night is the darkest. It is worth the drive. Once we got to the top of the mountain, we found a place to sit while the sun came up. We watched as the sky slowly changed colors and became brighter.

It was a short drive from Grantham New Hampshire to Montpelier Vermont to see the Vermont Capitol. The building is one of the smaller capitols that we have seen. Vermont is a small small state with under 1,000,000 in population. It was not surprising to see just a few seats in the Senate. The real
