Today, we resumed our third trip after a two week delay to get Steve’s Mom through the hospital stay and settled into rehab. We skipped over Providence, Boston, Concord, Wiscasset, Acadia, Augusta, Mt Washington, Montpelier, and Norwich. We will catch those locations another time. We got back on schedule just in time to attend our grandson Declan’s fifth birthday. We had a great meal at Friendly’s Ice Cream Shop to celebrate his birthday.
After dinner, we all went back to Declan’s home. He opened his present from us (the requested Marble Run) and we all helped him put it together. He seemed to be very pleased with it. We were very pleased to spend time with our sons, Eric and AJ, and with AJ’s wife and children.
