Today we drove from from Tallahassee Florida to Bradenton Florida to see Steve’s brother Carl and his wife Bonnie. It was a long drive compared with the other drives we have done so far.
While the drive was long, the day was easy. After arriving at Carl and Bonnie’s beautiful condo, we spent the afternoon talking and walking. We toured Bradenton and took a long walk on the Anna Maria Beach. We saw two bushes on the beach that had interesting decorations (shells.)
We also had a great supper at Gecko’s Grill, a local restaurant that is a favorite of Carl and Bonnie’s. Marlene ordered the same thing as Bonnie and Steve ordered the same thing as Carl. We were both very pleased with our meals.
Some of the best days are spent with family.
