Today was spent on planes and in airports. Our trip was uneventful. It was a three movie flight. Taking off from Portland Airport provides an interest view of several volcanos.
Mt. Hood is the closest to Portland. Mt. Adams, Mt. St Helens, and Mt. Rainer are also visible from the air. That means there are at least four volcanos within 124 miles of Portland.
We could also see an interesting view of some of the mountains we had traveled on our journey.
Here is a picture of one of the numerous forest fires on the west coast. It is amazing how large they can get to be.
We had a great three weeks. We got to see three state capitols, seven national parks, and lots of fun things along the way.
