We left early in the morning for Leigh Lake.
We were driving further south today so we got to see more of the mountains of the Grand Tetons.
Because we were there early in the morning, the air was cool and calm. The lakes were still. This morning provided a perfect time to view the mountains and the lakes.
Everywhere we hiked around Leigh Lake was gorgeous.

The Taggert Lake hike was more in the woods on the way to the lake. We saw a couple of small animals and a variety of flowers on the hike.
We did get to see the mountains at times when the woods opened up into fields.
There was still snow on the peaks in August.
As we walked around Taggert Lake, we saw many different views of the surroundings.
Here are two panoramic pictures of Taggert lake. One includes the mountain view. The other is taken facing away from the mountains.

On our way to visit Jackson Wyoming, we crossed the Snake River.
Jackson Wyoming is the ultimate tourist trap town. It is a nice town to visit, but be prepared for high end shops and high end prices. There were several unique sculptures in the town and four very large antler entrances to the park.
When we got back to our lodge, there was a family of deer grazing nearby.
