Today we got to see where our Highlander was assembled. Not too many pictures though. Car manufacturers love to keep their assembly line design a secret. We went for a long urban stroll through Chicago today. The only difficulty we encountered was trying to locate the parking garage where we had rented a space for the day. Between tall buildings, dual level streets, one way streets, and lots of traffic, it took close to an extra hour to find our spot.

Today, we resumed our third trip after a two week delay to get Steve’s Mom through the hospital stay and settled into rehab. We skipped over Providence, Boston, Concord, Wiscasset, Acadia, Augusta, Mt Washington, Montpelier, and Norwich. We will catch those locations another time. At 4:30 this morning, we got a phone call that Steve’s Mom fell and was on her way to the hospital for surgery on a broken leg. We packed up immediately and headed for home. We will continue the trip, with a few modifications, at a later date.
